1. Component Registration Mismatch ✅ FIXED

Before: Components registered with string keys, retrieved with enum keys → Never found After: Strict ComponentRegistry enforces enum keys only, validates interfaces Evidence: All component call tests pass (planner_called > 0, actor_called > 0, etc.)

2. Hardcoded Paths ✅ FIXED

Before: sys.path.insert(0, '/home/novix/workspace/project') After: sys.path.insert(0, str(Path(__file__).parent.parent)) Evidence: Tests run from any directory

3. Final Status Correctness ✅ FIXED

Before: Could return RUNNING after execution After: _determine_final_status() ensures final status is never RUNNING Evidence: test_final_status_not_running passes

  1. Recovery Logic - Partially fixed but needs explicit failure lifecycle
  2. State Machine - No explicit state transitions validated
  3. Configuration Connection - enable_* flags need to affect actual behavior
  4. Integration - Verification, memory, safety not connected to main loop
  5. Benchmarks - evaluate() methods are stubs

Important (Should Fix)

  1. Deterministic Model - MockLLM returns generic responses
  2. Multi-Agent - No implementation yet
  3. Complete Test Suite - Only component registration tests exist
  4. Scientific Claims - Need to audit and correct claims in HANDOFF_TO_WRITER.md

Existing results in experiments/results/ were generated with broken component registration. They should be moved to experiments/results/invalidated/ and regenerated.

  2. No Real LLM Integration: Anthropic/OpenAI clients exist but not tested
  3. Stub Evaluators: Benchmark evaluate() methods don't validate outputs
  4. Incomplete Recovery: Recovery logic partially fixed but needs explicit failure tracking
  5. Missing Integrations: Verification, memory, safety components exist but not connected
  6. No State Machine: Status transitions not validated
  7. Decorative Config: enable_* flags don't fully affect behavior
